I am Pui Yee Li, an acupuncture and Tuina therapist in Winterthur. Consultations and treatment are available in English, German and Chinese.

My qualification is Zertifikat OdA AM – Fachrichtung Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin TCM – Akupunktur/Tuina. I am EMR-registered and a member of the TCM Fachverband.

I take time to understand your concerns and health history. We discuss the treatment and next steps together. I view Traditional Chinese Medicine as complementary to medical care.

Acupuncture, Tuina and other methods

Acupuncture uses fine needles at selected points on the body. Before treatment, we discuss the approach and your questions.

Tuina, also written Tui Na, is a manual method of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also known as Chinese massage. It uses hand techniques such as stroking, grasping and pressing.

Further methods include cupping, Gua Sha and moxibustion (Moxa). I also offer practical TCM nutrition tips and Shōnishin, a Japanese treatment method for children. We discuss which approach is appropriate for your visit.

Your first appointment

Your first visit includes time to talk about your concerns and health history.

First visit: allow 90 minutes.
Follow-up visits: usually 60 minutes.

Fees and supplementary insurance

The fee is CHF 150 per hour, payable by TWINT or invoice.

Please check with your supplementary insurer before your appointment whether it contributes to your treatment. Give the insurer the treatment method and my name, Pui Yee Li. Coverage depends on your policy and its recognition of the method and practitioner. Without an insurance contribution, you pay for the treatment yourself.
